How this Works
Charm Post is a monthly, recurring subscription for $8 per month. Once subscribed, you may cancel or skip at any time by accessing your account.
On the desktop and mobile, your account can be found by clicking the circular person icon beside the shopping cart. These options are within the menu icon (three stacked lines) on mobile. Under your Charm Post subscription, select Manage. From here, you can skip your shipments by selecting Pause, or cancel your subscription altogether by selecting Cancel Subscription beneath the Billing Details section.
Your acceptance letter will mail first and separately from your regular monthly shipments. We try to mail these out within a week of your initial subscription date. It will arrive in a white, gold-lined envelope with the Grimbriar Stamp in the top left corner.
Louise is your assigned instructor (preceptor) for your Grimbriar studies. After receiving your acceptance letter, you can expect an envelope from Louise to follow separately. We ship these letters out each month after the 25th. If you subscribed at the beginning of the month, be patient! We haven't forgotten you.
Inside each envelope from Louise is the following:
- An enchanting illustrated adventure letter about that month's lesson topic
- Ex. British Strider Dragons, Mushroom Pixies, Potion of Sleeping, etc.
- A gold-foiled collectible trading card
- An additional unique insert about that month's lesson
- Ex. A train ticket, a beast's anatomical study card, a page from a spellbook, etc.
These lessons ship monthly and are never repeated.
FAQ
Your first month of Charm Post involves two deliveries.
Your first delivery will arrive in a shimmering, copper envelope stamped with the official Grimbriar Griffin. You will receive this envelope only once. Inside, you’ll find the following:
- Your official, gold-foiled Grimbriar Acceptance Letter; flip it over for the Decree of Good Intent given to all incoming students.
Your second delivery will follow according to our normal shipping schedule, which begins toward the end of each month. It is cream-colored and illustrated with a stamp in the upper left corner that says “From Louise.” You will receive this type of envelope every month until you cancel. Inside you will find the following:
- An illustrated letter from Louise, your magic instructor.
- A collectible, gold-foiled trading card relating to the contents of the letter.
- An additional insert that varies month to month, i.e. anatomical study of a dragon, a page from a spellbook, a potion recipe, etc.
We recommend Charm Post for ages 11 and up, with our largest subscriber demographic being ages 18-24. Younger readers can also enjoy these letters and all of their magical inserts. However, some vocabulary used in the letters can be considered advanced and may require guidance for understanding.
To keep shipping affordable for all customers, including international customers, we ship using USPS First-Class mail, AKA postage stamps. This type of mailing does not include tracking. The average times for mailing vary depending on the season and social climate of the world. As of December 2022, mailing within the continental US is between 1-5 days. Outside of the US, mailing times can be up to 3 weeks. Mailing to Australia sees the longest mailing times, at up to 8 weeks.
